The Carers Couch app is a modern support and services hub designed to improve connectivity between you, your Support Crew and the broader carer community. The Carers Couch app allows you to access expert advice when and where you need it. Join interest-based community groups to broaden your support network and manage your care schedule.

Established by people whose lives have been impacted by cancer too, the Carers Couch team works hard to innovate holistic, collaborative solutions that connect our community to the best possible networks of support.

• Join a community who understands the challenges you face. Build a Support Crew of family and friends, and easily connect to likeminded carers.
• Chat to qualified experts and access the services of your choice. Explore wellbeing options that suit your individual needs and beliefs. Find solutions to even the most unexpected questions.
• Take control of your day-to-day schedule. Stay in touch with your Support Crew to manage medications, appointments and responsibilities. Give yourself the space for some all important me time.

Carers Couch provides targeted and needs-based assistance, which is offered either face-to-face, via email or over the phone according to individual carer preference. Carers Couch recognizes the variability of carer needs along their journey herefore tailors each interaction according to their current needs. Following an initial consultation, carers are referred to relevant support resources, such as health services, cancer foundations, community organisations, healthcare professionals and peer support networks. 

Carers Couch provides ongoing support and remains connected with each carer until their support needs are met and the carer indicates readiness to cease follow-up contact. Carers Couch maintains an extensive database, which allows quick retrieval of information about existing Australian support resources including, for example, accessible health, financial, social, child care, and peer support. We conduct ongoing research into new and existing services available across Australia, which ensures that our database and resources remain up-to-date and relevant.
